Read the following Terms and Conditions carefully which will help you make a transaction with Naizgi Ethiopia Tour and Travel with full understanding!

HOW TO MAKE A RESERVATION:

Reservation can be made through email addresses, telephone, or Postal address.

DEPOSIT REQUIRED:

10% of Total price for both group and individual bookings is due at the time of reservation. If cancellations for individual booking is made prior to 45days the advance deposit will be refunded otherwise it will be non-refundable. . If cancellations for group booking is made prior to 90 days the advance deposit will be refunded otherwise it will be non-refundable. Instant purchase packages require full payment at the time of booking.

FULL PAYMENT: Due 25 days prior to arrival for individual booking and prior to 60 days for group bookings. Depending up on the condition of the source country, full payments for individual bookers can be made up on arrival. Some special events (such as Ethiopian Epiphany and the Finding of the True Cross) may require earlier payment. You will be advised at the time of reservation. Instant purchase packages require full payment at the time of booking.

PRICES: For payments made face to face we accept only cash payments, we do not accept credit cards, visa etc…. Prices are per person and usually based upon shared twin /double room occupancy unless specified. In case of human or computer error, Royal Ethiopia Tour and Travel reserves the right to re-invoice for the correct price or service. A full refund will be made to passengers who choose not to pay an increase, provided Royal Ethiopia Tour and Travel receives a written cancellation within five days of the price increase notification

MINIMUM PURCHASE: There is no minimum night's reservation. Clients can buy as little as a single day tour package.

CREDIT CARDS: We do not accept credit cards, but there is the service in almost all capital cities of the country.

CHANGES AFTER DEPOSIT: $20 per revision per booking, plus any expenses imposed by suppliers like the Hoteliers applies. Amending the date of travel may not constitute a cancellation and rebooking and will not be subject to cancellation fees.

LAST MINUTE RESERVATIONS: Bookings received 20 days or less prior to arrival will not include last-minute booking fee. HOWEVER, requested services like hotel rooms in a specified hotel may not get confirmations and may be replaced by other equivalent or less equivalent services. Royal Ethiopia Tour and Travel is not responsible for dissatisfactions arising from such factors. Final payment is due within two to three days of reservation and all applicable cancellation penalties will apply thereafter.

CLIENTS NAME: Clients are responsible to ensure that the names printed on the invoice exactly match the first and last name written in their passport. Due to newly introduced security measures, any name change including minor spelling corrections may require airline reservations to be canceled and rebooked. Reservations are subject to availability at the time of rebooking. Once full payment is received, airline tickets will be issued. Royal Ethiopia Tour and Travel will not be held responsible for the denial of services by a carrier due to any name discrepancy. Name changes must be advised in writing.

AMENDMENTS AFTER ARRIVAL: Costs might apply for any changes or additions to tour programs and must be borne by the tourist.

AIRLINES: Once issued, tickets are refundable at cancellation fees. Airline schedules and flights are subject to change without notice. Royal Ethiopia Tour and Travel is not responsible for program cancellations or amendments or clients dissatisfactions due to schedule and/or flight changes, cancellations or delays. If flight tickets are not included in the price clients are responsible for booking, issuing and reconfirming the seats. Clients are responsible to reconfirm their flights 72 hours prior to departure for all flights but our office might assist in this respect.

Airport taxes & fees: All airline tickets are subject to a variety of government taxes. In addition, for both domestic and International flights our price does not include taxes unless indicated.

HOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS: Will be provided in accordance with the itinerary or similar. We reserve the right to make substitutions with hotels of equal standard. There will be no refunds for any difference in the cost of those accommodations. All rooms are standard twin-bedded or double-bedded rooms with private facilities, unless you have specifically requested and paid for a single room supplement or any upgraded room category. Special requests such as bed types, smoking preference and connecting rooms are subject to availability. Room selection in all cases, unless otherwise reserved, is strictly at the discretion of the hotel's management. Triple rooms consist of standard twin beds plus a sofa/folding bed or other beds may be imported in to the room depending up on the hotel and its management. All hotel rates are based on Royal Ethiopia Tour and Travel agreements with its suppliers and are not negotiable. Hotel check-in time is varies and can be advised up on request. Please be sure that adequate arrangements for accommodations have been taken into consideration when a late night flight is being used. If a day room is included in the itinerary, there will normally be a checkout time depending up on the hotel and this will be advised up on request or reservation.

BOAT SERVICE: Boat services will be governed by the rules of the suppliers. Depending up on the size of clients Boats varying from small to medium to big can be used.

VEHICLES: Modern Toyota will be V8 used for programs that demand them-which means when driving across rough roads is a must. Usually driver allowance and fuel will be included in prices unless indicated. The Vehicles may or may not be air-conditioned depending up on the destinations visited. For groups’ minibuses, coaches with seats from 18 to 32 will be used. For very big groups buses of about 45 seats can be used.

CHILDREN: Minimum age for children on escorted or guided coach tours is 12 except on short and /or air assisted trips where minimum age is eight. Discounts for children sharing a room as third apply to children under 12.

MEALS ON TOUR: As specified in each itinerary. Meals are based on the hotel's or restaurant's buffet or set menu unless a special request is made for groups. In general, beverages are not included, unless specifically stated.

TRANSFERS: As indicated for each tour, provided by car, minibus, or motor coach, and on tour arrival and departure dates, and between destinations when the tour program is by flight. If you purchase a land-only tour, or if you deviate from the arrival and/or departure dates as stated in the itinerary, you will automatically be billed for the transfer service, which you may advise us to cancel at any time prior to your final tour payment date.

SIGHTSEEING: Will be operated by motor vehicle, its size dictated by the number of participants, at the sole discretion of the company. Royal Ethiopia Tour and Travel have been designed to accommodate individuals as well as groups. Please refer to each tour package for a complete listing of tour services included. The number of participants may vary during the tour. Times listed in itineraries are approximate and meant only as guidelines. It is your responsibility to arrive on time for all scheduled flights, and package components. Arriving late may be considered a "no-show", in which case you will not be eligible for refund for the unused service(s). We cannot guarantee the number of passengers who will be on any given tour. You may find that you are traveling with a sizeable group or only with your own companions. Services, however, will remain constant no matter the number of tour participants.

PUBLIC HOLIDAYS: On dates including, but not limited to religious holidays and national celebrations, some monuments, shops, and sites may be closed. On these occasions, touring itineraries may be amended to reflect these closures.

LUGGAGE: It is wise to keep number of luggage to the minimum- one piece of luggage per person and one carry-on bag is Ideal. Excess luggage on inland flights will be subject to charge of up to $100 per piece. Royal Ethiopia Tour and Travel shall not be held responsible for any damage to or loss of luggage/personal items. All damage/loss must be reported at time of incident and documented in writing by local authorities for submission to the insurance company.

ITINERARY AND HOTEL VARIATIONS: Occasionally, during holidays and certain periods, due to unforeseen circumstances, Royal Ethiopia Tour and Travel may have to make last-minute changes, sometimes after arrival, in the sequence of the tour and/or hotels. Therefore, we reserve the right to substitute any of the hotels with no cost adjustment.

NON-OPERATION OF ESCORTED TOUR: Escorted tour packages are based upon a minimum number of participants. Cancellation of any tour for lack of participation will be advised at least 30 days prior to the tour's departure, and all money will be refunded.

TRAVELERS WITH DISABILITIES: Tour participants requiring any form of assistance are required to notify Royal Ethiopia Tour and Travel in writing at the time of reservation, and must be accompanied by an individual responsible for providing those services. Tour managers, guides, drivers or other tour, hotel, ship personnel are not able to provide such assistance but may do so depending up on their individual interest. Royal Ethiopia Tour and Travel reserves the right to remove any person from a tour who has not provided the required notification and has not received written confirmation from Royal Ethiopia Tour and Travel. All related expenses, including those to return home, will be borne by the passenger.

GROUP HARMONY: To ensure the desired group synergy, Naizgi Tour and Travel reserves the right to accept, reject or expel any individual who is deemed disruptive or incompatible with the interests of the group. All expenses to do so will be borne by the passenger.

HEALTH REQUIREMENTS: Please check with your healthcare provider for up-to-date requirements. Malaria is endemic to some regions of Ethiopia and precautions must be taken. Required inoculations, if any, must be recorded by clients' health practitioner on a valid vaccination certificate which the client must carry for proof of inoculation where required. Individuals with heart disease, chronic illness, physical handicap, advanced pregnancy, or mental illness should not participate in these rigorous travel programs.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS: Passengers are responsible for ensuring that they have the proper travel documents and MUST CHECK with the respective consulate(s) or visa agency to determine whether any visas are required.
